Matt Santos

Matt Santos is an up and coming comedian based out of Ottawa, Canada.

Using a combination of word play, story telling and absurdist humour, Matt’s comedy draws from various things in his life, specfically his background as a Portuguese/Venezuelan immigrant growing up in small-town Ontario and being bisexual in a strict Catholic family.

His credits include competing in the Absolute Comedy “Prove You’re a Comic” competition, a showcase at the Ottawa Fringe Festival, selected as one of the best under-30 comics in Ontario for the Alterna Savings Crack Up the Capital festival (Ottawa), the 2019 Midwest Queer Comedy Festival (Louisville), as well as performing in clubs across Canada and the USA. He is also co-founder of the Dirty Bird Comedy Festival.
